Whether you are staying in the Yarra Valley or Melbourne, our expert local guides will host you for an entertaining and informative day sampling the fruits of the valley. Private winery tours of the Yarra Valley for up to 6 guests will be picked up in a modern Mercedes Van and driven to some of our favourite spots including some of the hidden gems of the valley. Whether you are a fan of true cool-climate varietals or prefer sweeter wine and bubbles we can tailor a package to suit your tastes. We can also include tastings at Distilleries and Breweries or perhaps a visit to world-class attractions such as Healesville Sanctuary and Puffing Billy!
Private winery tours of over 6 guests will be hosted in mini-vans and we would be pleased to suggest an itinerary to suit the occasion. Contact us for details.

We can offer your group a variety of lunch options to suit every budget. Or pre-book lunch where your group would like to dine.

Visit Four Pillars Gin: Sample three of their most popular Gins: The Bloody Shiraz, Navy Strength and Rare Dry Gin.

Visit Innocent Bystander: Enjoy their famous “Metre of Awesome” which is literally a metre-long share board filled with cheese, meats, olives and everything that is good! Each platter to be shared between 2 people.

Absolutely! We’ll suggest some of our favourite venues of wineries that we think will be of interest but we are open to your suggestions. We can also recommend a range of lunch venues to suit every budget and taste.

Yes! We can pick you up and drop you off anywhere around Melbourne or the Yarra Valley. The Yarra Valley is an approx 1-hour drive from Melbourne.

Magical day!

Was a magical day, amazing variety of cheese, wine, bubbles, chocolate set against the backdrop of the Yarra Valley, highly recommend!!

Private Winery Tour

My daughter organised our winery tour for her 21st Birthday. It was a lovely day out for 13 of us. We visited Yearing Farm boutique winery for tastings and a platter the was paired brilliantly. Our next stop was Chandon, very classy. Choice of 3 different tasting sets backed with information about each wine written and verbal. The scenery was stunning too. Onto our 3rd stop, St. Huberts. Very popular and a more casual, laid-back feel. A busy restaurant and a choice of paid/free tastings. A great day out was had by all and special thanks to Mark, our tour guide. He gives you all the history and information about you tour as he drives along. Gather some friends and book a tour. You'll live it.

Fantastic!

Just wanted to drop you a note to say thanks so much for a brilliant tour yesterday , Tom was an amazing host - pleasant , knowledgeable and so easy to be with . Nothing was too much trouble , and we even finished off with a back scene tour of the golf course to see the kangaroos whilst I was on FaceTime to my grandsons . Thanks again , Colette & JC

Great Day!

We had a great winery tour yesterday with Mark as the driver. The mini bus was very comfortable and was great not having to drive. The wineries were lovely and we ended up at the chocolatiers!! Many thanks to Craig for organising and to Mark (driver) who gave us a great day and he was very accommodating and flexible! . We recommend Yarra Valley Touring company. They are very flexible and happy to fit in with our needs! Thank you so much!!

Beautiful day in the valley!

We just did a private day tour with our host, Mark. He was patient and accommodating with our girls. He also got our twins chocs for their upcoming birthday which made their day even more ! Liaison with Craig on tour details was also easy and fast. Would recommend them totally 💯

Fantastic tour 10 of 10

WOW - This small group tour, which gives you so much more, was one of our highlights from our 3 weeks in Australia. Our guide Craig, also the founder of the company, is a highly professional and wonderful guide who knows the area well. These places he took us to were just amazing, and a perfect combination all together. We can highly recommend this tour!. And on top of all good cheese, wine and chocolate, we got really close to kangaroos!🙌

Private Tour

Craig picked us up from the Melbourne airport (saved us hiring a car) and spent the next two days showing us some the wine gems of the Yarra Valley. We left our private tour in his hands, knowing that local knowledge is more valuable than ours, given the number of wineries and places to eat in the Yarra. We were delighted with his choices and couldn’t recommend The Yarra Valley Touring Company enough. Absolutely professional and great fun. Then he took us back to the airport- so easy. Group favourite for all was Dominique Porte winery for wine and food, but many others were not far behind.
