The Yarra Valley with it’s backdrop of mountains and rivers is not only home to world class wine and produce but also gorgeous views and so many kangaroos!
The best time to spot wild Kangaroos is at Sunset which is when the fun really starts and we go on a Kangaroo safari! But first- we start the afternoon with the best of the valleys wine, cheese and chocolates!

This exclusive small group public tour with maximum 12 guests includes tastings at the Yarra Valley Chocolaterie and Ice Creamery plus a visit to Domaine Chandon where you can purchase sparkling wine and cheese platters or oysters!

We will also visi the Yarra Valley Dairy for Cheese tastings PLUS an additional winery for more wine tastings!

11.30am Meet at Federation Square (opposite Flinders Street Station)

We'll visit Domaine Chandon where our table with a view awaits! Purchase Sparkling wine or oysters or other hors d'oeuvres from the lounge menu then visit the boutique and shop to your hearts content!

Cheese tastings at Yarra Valley Dairy

Sample a generous variety of cheeses made onsite at this boutique dairy in the heart of the Yarra Valley!

Wine tastings at Yering Station winery

Sample a generous variety of cool climate classic wines including their signature Shiraz Viognier!

Chocolate tastings at the Yarra Valley Chocolaterie and Ice Creamery

This tour includes private chocolate tastings at the Yarra Valley Chocolaterie and Ice Creamery, one of the most exciting and vibrant venues in the Yarra Valley!

Great afternoon in the Yarra Valley

From pick up location to drop off this tour was well worth the booking. The tour guides, Tom and Stephen we very knowledgeable and friendly. The venues were delightful with plenty of time to taste and explore at each location. Smaller groups made it a more personal tour. Thank you for an amazing day 😊

Booked a Yarra Valley (Domaine Chandon, Yarra Valley Dairy, Yering Station, Yarra Valley Chocolaterie) last minute, and I'm absolutely glad that I did! Tom, our guide, has been delightful from the start (totally convinced me I like Melbourne better than Sydney, wink). He made sure we were okay and having fun the whole time, and the great taste in music was a great bonus. I found the tour educational and worth the money. Worth every cent!

What an incredible tour from booking process to drop off near our apartment at the end. Great communication by Yarra Touring Company when our pick up location needed to be changed due to Protest rally on Australia Day. We made it to our new pick up location with 10 minutes to spare and was greeted by Craig our driver and tour guide. Right off the bat we could tell it was going to be a great day as Craig was engaging, entertaining and informative right throughout the tour. Van was comfortable, air conditioned which was welcomed as it was a hot day and Craig came prepared with a chilly bin for our purchases which might have needed to be kept cool. Also grateful for the bottles of cold water he handed out and other treats. Cheeses, wines, chocolates and Kangaroos were amazing. Great way to spend our first Australia Day! Overall, for our first tour in Melbourne, we believe it was money well spent and would not hesitate to do another tour with Yarra Valley Touring. 5 stars all the way!

Fantastic Yarra Valley tour - 10 of 10!

WOW - This small group tour, which gives you so much more, was one of our highlights from our 3 weeks in Australia. Our guide Craig, also the founder of the company, is a highly professional and wonderful guide who knows the area well. These places he took us to were just amazing, and a perfect combination all together. We can highly recommend this tour! And on top of all good cheese, wine and chocolate along the way we also got really close to kangaroos!🙌

A wonderful day!

We had SO MUCH fun on this all day tour! It was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. We loved the cheese tasting (so much cheese!) and the chocolate tasting (so much chocolate!). Our favorite winery visit was Chandon because they had different flights you could sample that were really different, and since there were four of us doing this tour together, we could try them all. At the end they took us to a place we could see a bunch of wild kangaroos. We'd already seen a few at the vineyard, but this was a TON of them. I am an avid amateur photographer, so I absolutely loved getting a chance to photograph them both through the telephoto lense and then through the car windows closer up. The kangaroos are so common in rural area they are like deer in the u.s.- the locals did not know what we were so excited about. But I was very happy with pretty much everything about the day. Our tour guide was Curtis and he was great- I highly recommend him and this tour!

AWESOME TOUR

Afternoon start so no rush in the morning to depart from the city. You get everything as described in this tour description and more! Pick up and drop location easy. Craig was a wonderful guide who had fun facts about the city and the Yarra valley and the locations we went to. Cheese was great. Wine was great. Chocolate was great. Kangaroos were great! Highly recommend. Great value. Comfy bus. Will visit again. GREAT DAY!

Amazon tour, definitely recommended!

We highly recommend this tour. We spend the best afternoon visiting Yarra Valley. What made the tour even better was the wonderful tour guide Kurt! He is the best tour guide we have had during all of our travels, so fun, easy going and knowledgeable. We've learned a lot on our trip. The visits with the cheese, chocolate and wine tasting were very good. Spotting the kangaroos was another highlight of the tour, Kurt gave us lots of time to see them up close. Amazing tour!

Excellent Guide!!! Kurt was super informative and knowledgeable, loads of nuggets on Melbourne, very kind and ensured we were all well taken care off and comfortable, there was a young lady who couldn't speak much English and he ensured she was never left out. Greatly appreciated all the tips on what to try or look out for, lots of firsts for the palate for me, TRULY an enjoyable tour and HIGHLY RECOMMENDED 🥰

My daughter and I, Jess had a wonderful day with Craig as our host during a visit to Melbourne to see my son late January. Craig is so knowledgeable about the area and made sure with the various vendors that we didn't miss out on anything and had an awesome day. The cheese, wine and chocolate tasting were divine. The extra twist was the kangaroo search - so neat to see in their natural habitat and to learn about the difference between that breed versus the ones in other Australian locations. Thanks again Craig. I highly recommend this tour!

Great relaxing day out with a blast!

It was.a wonderful experience, everything you would want in a tour and more. Cheese, wine, chocolate and ice cream etc... The trip ended with a great sighting of Kangaroos which was amazing. The Joeys were so adorable posting differently in their mommy's tummy.
